The Monster Standard triathlon uses the same routes as the Monster Middle, only half the distance. Composing of a 1.5km swim, 44km bike and 12km run, this race is perfect for those wishing to do their first open water swim! This event has sold out for the past six years, you don't want to miss out!

Race HQ will be on Jubilee Gardens, Ely. The course is fantastic; an iconic river swim, flat bike course taking in the Fens and a picturesque run. Maps for the course can be seen on our Monster website.
Registration and racking will take place on Saturday and Sunday, with registration at 14:00 - 16:30 on Saturday and 04:30 - 06:20 on Sunday. Racking will b available at 04:30 - 07:10 on Sunday. Briefing will be at 06:30.
As the event will take place on the same day as the Monster Middle you are guaranteed a fabulous atmosphere! We also have camping available for those who want to stop overnight.
